These Terms govern use of The Executive Room website and purchases of The Executive Playbook. By using the website or buying the publication, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase The Executive Playbook.
Digital product and delivery
The Executive Playbook is a digital publication. Purchases are processed through Gumroad, which provides checkout, receipts, and access to purchased files. Delivery and access may also be subject to Gumroad’s applicable terms.
Pricing, payments, and taxes
The price and currency displayed at checkout apply to your order. Applicable taxes and payment charges, if any, will be shown during checkout. We may change prices for future purchases without changing completed orders.
Personal-use license
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use The Executive Playbook for personal reference. You may NOT resell, sublicense, share, or distribute the Book or any of its parts; publicly distribute, upload, post the Book on file-sharing or similar services; modify the original content or create derivative works based on its content for any distribution; or share copies of the Book with others; or remove its copyright notices. All intellectual property rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
Refunds and purchase support
Refund requests are handled in accordance with the refund terms displayed for the product at the time of purchase and applicable law. Please review the Gumroad product listing and your receipt for purchase support and refund-request instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Educational content; no professional advice
The website and The Executive Playbook provide general educational information about professional judgment, leadership, careers, and related topics. They do not provide individualized legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and do not establish an advisory, fiduciary, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. Seek advice from qualified professionals before making consequential decisions.
No guarantees and disclaimers
We do not promise particular career, financial, or business outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, the website and publication are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Executive Room and those involved in providing the website or publication are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or opportunities arising from use of the website or publication. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or infringe the rights of others. Site text, design, branding, and publication content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Changes and governing law
We may revise these Terms and post the updated version here with a new effective date. These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of New York, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rules that apply to you.
